One of the most exciting things for a broker is to discover a ‘barn find’ to unearth something that hasn’t seen the light of day for many years and then to be instrumental in getting
that vehicle to a new owner who will revive it. While not that elusive unknown ‘Bugatti’ I recently located a Mark II Jaguar which had been shut in a garage since the
70’s. Covered in all sorts of building materials the car wasn’t in very good condition but with the desirable 3.8 engine I was able to find a
new home and the car will shortly be on the road again.
A hidden Morgan, an unfinished project, was also ‘found’ and delivered to an excited new owner in Scotland who is to restore the car
himself and return the Morgan to the road.
