Information for stall holders
Building on the success of previous years the Haslemere Classic Car Show will be
an independent event in 2012. While still coming under the umbrella of the
Haslemere Festival, the show will be run on it’s own giving us both sides of the green and allowing us to develop a more ‘vintage’ feel to the day.
We are looking at ways to improve the event and offer added value for visitors.
We have lots of ideas but are open to suggestions. We intend to encourage
people to ‘dress’ in attire to match their vehicles, have some period style music and
entertainment, childrens activities and quality traditional food and a bar.
There is a great deal of interest in the event from the public and we promote
the show locally in print and on radio and nationally in the motoring and
vintage press.
There will be a selection of stalls selling local produce, crafts, art, vintage
clothing, memorabilia and car related products. The emphasis is on quality and
local business. The 2012 event will be held on Sunday 27 May 2012, stalls can
trade from noon until 5.00pm. A 3x3m (pitch only) is available for £40. We are also keen to hear from charities who would like to run a ‘vintage style’ attraction such as ‘splat the rat’, coconut shy etc at a special rate of £10. information. There are opportunities for business’ to support or sponsor specific attractions on the day.
For the first time in 2012 we will be printing a ‘lucky’ programme which will include details of the pre-booked cars and stalls. If you
